Wired home automation in a new build or major renovation

When walls and ceilings are open, a wired system is the most reliable choice. Each light, shutter and socket circuit is brought back to the board, where modules control it.

The electrician designs the installation with you: which rooms, which scenes, which push-buttons and where. He sizes the board and leaves room for later.

We install the main systems found in Belgium, such as Niko Home Control, and advise what suits your project and budget.

Wireless systems and smart switches in an occupied home

In a home you live in, there is no need to open every wall. Wireless modules fit behind existing switches or in the board, and smart switches replace the old ones.

You can start with a few rooms, for example the living room lighting and the shutters, and extend later. The electrician checks that the existing wiring is sound before adding modules.

He chooses products that work together, so you do not end up with one app per device.

Programming, scenes and control screen

A scene groups several actions in one press: « evening » dims the lights and closes the shutters, « away » switches everything off and lowers the heating.

The electrician programmes the scenes with you, sets the timers and connects the app or the control screen. He shows you how to change a setting yourself.

Afterwards, a change of habits or a new room is easy to add to the programming.

Repairing a home automation installation

A module that no longer responds, a scene that has stopped working, an app that has lost the connection: the electrician checks the supply of the modules, the bus or the wireless link, then the programming.

Many faults come from a module at the end of its life, a power surge or a router change. He tells you the cause and the cost before replacing anything.

We also take over installations put in by another installer, as long as the system and its programming can be accessed.

What home automation can control

Lighting: switching, dimming, presence detection and scenes. Shutters and blinds: by time, by sun or with one button for the whole house.

Heating by zone: each room at the right temperature at the right time, with the boiler or heat pump. Energy: meters per circuit, charging point and solar panels managed together.

Safety and comfort: simulated presence, alerts, a single button to switch everything off when you leave.

Can home automation control my heating?

Yes, room by room, with your boiler or heat pump, depending on the products.
