In Belgium, the name Riello is first of all on the burner: thousands of floor-standing oil and gas boilers, whatever their brand, fire thanks to a Riello burner. The Italian maker also builds its own boilers. We service and repair both, everywhere in Belgium, in Brussels, Wallonia and Flanders, 7 days a week.

Open the door of many boiler rooms and you will see a small burner bolted to the front of the boiler, often green or grey, with Riello on the cover. Models of the 40 G and RDB series are among the most common oil burners in Belgian homes, fitted on boilers of many different makes.
A burner needs care every year: new nozzle and oil filter, cleaning of the fan and the combustion head, check of the electrodes and the photocell, oil pump pressure, then a combustion analysis to set the air and fuel correctly. A well-tuned burner soots less, smells less and uses less oil.
When the red lockout light comes on, the cause is often simple (no fuel, clogged filter, dirty photocell) but sometimes it is the ignition transformer, the control box or the pump. Pressing the reset button again and again can flood the chamber with oil: call us instead.

Riello also makes gas burners for floor-standing boilers, in houses and in collective boiler rooms. Their faults look similar: no ignition, flame lost after a few seconds, lockout after a gas supply cut, or a burner that starts and stops too often.
Our engineer checks the gas pressure at the inlet and on the burner, the air pressure switch, the ignition and ionisation electrodes, the control box and the gas valve, then measures the combustion. He tells you the cause and the price of the repair before replacing anything.
The meaning of the lockout signals and codes is described on our Riello error codes page. A burner that locks out regularly always needs a professional look.

Riello also produces wall-hung condensing gas boilers, such as the Family and Residence Condens ranges, found in some Belgian flats and houses. They work like other condensing combis: a burner, a heat exchanger, a fan, sensors and a board that shows a code when something is wrong.
During the service, the engineer cleans the exchanger, clears the siphon, checks the expansion vessel and the safety devices and adjusts the combustion. In case of breakdown he tests each component before ordering a part.
The legal service interval depends on your Region and fuel. At the end of the visit, you get a maintenance attestation.

Many Riello burners work on boilers that are thirty years old. Changing the burner alone can extend the life of a sound boiler, but if the boiler body is tired, a full replacement is usually wiser. We give you our honest opinion after the visit.
Options include a condensing oil boiler, a switch to gas where the street is connected, or an air-to-water heat pump. A hybrid setup keeping the oil boiler as back-up is also possible in some houses.
You receive a free, detailed quote. If you leave oil, we also take care of decommissioning the tank properly.

If you have bought or rented an older house in Belgium, the boiler in the cellar may carry one name and the burner on its front another, very often Riello. The burner is the part that mixes fuel and air and makes the flame; it is also the part that needs most of the yearly attention.
Our engineers know Riello burners whatever the boiler behind them. Tell us both names when you call 0477 03 88 98: the boiler on the casing, the burner on its own label.

A cast-iron boiler body can last forty years, while a burner wears out sooner. When the boiler is still sound but the burner keeps locking out and parts are getting scarce, fitting a new burner can give the installation several more good years.
The engineer checks the boiler body, the flue and the chimney before suggesting it. If the boiler itself is near the end, he says so, and talks you through the options, from a condensing boiler to a heat pump.
Most calls about Riello equipment concern the burner.
No fuel, clogged filter, dirty photocell, faulty transformer or pump.
Bad combustion setting or a worn nozzle; never leave it running like that.
A small leak on the line or the pump. Stop the boiler if safe and call us.
Gas pressure, air pressure switch or flame detection to check.
Tell us the boiler brand, the burner model on the cover and what happens.
Call-out and first hour given in advance; parts priced on site.
The engineer tunes or repairs, explains and leaves the job sheet and invoice.

Yes, we maintain and repair burners in collective boiler rooms for owners and managing agents.
Look at the label on the burner itself, on the front of the boiler. It shows the brand and the model, which the engineer needs to bring the right parts.
Sometimes, if the boiler body and the chimney are in good condition. The engineer checks them first and tells you honestly.
